Dan Searight, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts from Rhodes College and his Master of Architecture from the University of Texas in 1987. Mr. Searight began his design career with SOM/Los Angeles, later moving to Houston to expand his experience in architectural design, interiors and urban planning. His project experience encompasses corporate headquarters, office renovations, data centers, senior living, bio-medical research and rehabilitation centers, master planning for colleges, universities and preparatory schools. Interior projects include large scale corporate office renovations, film producer suites, and clinical facilities for outpatient care. As senior design director, he has led the design of projects from high rise offices to retail centers with projects up to $50,000,000 in construction cost. Mr. Searight has been honored with design awards from The American Institute of Architects, American Society of Interior Designers, American Planning Association and the Society of American Registered Architects and TOBY Awards as well as spoken at numerous local, regional and national conventions such as the AIA, USGBC and the Society for College and University Planning, SCIARC, UCLA, University of Houston, and The University of Texas at Austin as well as published articles in Texas Architect, Cite, LA Architect.
